Tips on Searching Index File Names Tips on Searching Content Index

Documents prior to November 1998 can only be searched with this method. The File Names for the Supervisor's minutes index are stored in a MM-DD-YYYY format. You can search for exact dates or partial dates. For example, entering "01" (without the quotes) will return all documents that cover meetings held in January of ALL years as well as meetings held on the 1st of any month. If you wanted to see all minutes for meetings held in 1987 you would enter "1987" (again, without the quotes) in the Search box.

Documents generally created after November 1998 are searchable by the content they contain as well as the filename method. For example if you were looking for minutes that contain information about budgets, you could enter the keyword "budget" in the search box (without the quotes). You can also search for phrases, for example you could enter "health insurance" (again without the quotes) to see documents that contain information about health insurance. You can select between long or short listing styles for content searches.
