AN AMENDMENT TO SHELBY COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2001-7

An ordinance amending Shelby County Ordinance No. 2001-2, which identifies the following described real estate as being zoned “I-2”, General Industrial: 

Peterson Subdivision, Section 12, Lincoln Township

 Whereas, the property described above would be better utilized if it were zoned “PD”, Planned Development, and

Whereas, “Church” needs to be added to the list of permitted uses under the Planned Development District, and

Whereas, said amendment to Shelby County Zoning Ordinance would be in the best interest of the county.

Be it enacted by the Shelby County Board of Supervisors of Shelby County, Iowa, that said Shelby County Ordinance No. 2001-2 be amended to show the above described real estate as being zoned “PD” Planned Development and that “Church” be added to the list of permitted uses under the Planned Development District.

Adopted this 16th day of July, 2002.
