An ordinance amending Paragraph 1 of Shelby County Ordinance 1989-4 so the ordinance reads as follows:

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM PERMITS RULES OF THE IOWA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, SECTION 567 (CHAPTER 69), FOR SHELBY COUNTY, IOWA.

WHEREAS, the State of Iowa has enacted legislation requiring a permit from the Department of Natural Resources prior to the construction of any new onsite wastewater treatment and disposal systems in the State, and

WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has adopted rules to implement the said statutory provisions,

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Supervisors of Shelby County, Iowa, that the said Chapter 69 of Iowa Administrative Code in its entirety shall henceforth be the onsite wastewater treatment and disposal systems rules of Shelby County.

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
